motodrome offer GB 063, a 1999/T reg Land Rover Defender 50th Anniversary 4.0 V8, as usual finished in Atlantis Metallic.

50ths are fitted as standard with automatic transmission, anti-roll bars, air conditioning, factory Safari rollcage, cubbybox, lowered rear bulkhead, NAS rear step, full-length chrome sidesteps, and pewter alloys, all of which this retains.

The original 4 sideways facing rear seats have been removed, and replaced with a pair of forward-facing seats which fold away to the sides, and have 3-point seat belts. We do however have the originals if you wish it to be returned to standard.

It’s further fitted with powder coated steering guard, front A-bar with a pair of auxiliary lights, swingaway spare wheel carrier, and a full LED light kit (including headlights).

We know GB 063 well, as we sold it to the last owner in 2017, when it had done 90000 miles. He’s had a load of fun with it over the past few years, (the odometer reading is now 103000 miles) but an impending move overseas meant he offered it back to us, and we were happy to accept.

He’s had it meticulously maintained by his local garage in Surrey and we have a big sheaf of bills from his ownership 2017-26, but unfortunately the substantial history file we sold the car with in 2017 has gone missing in a house move. What we can tell you from our records is that this one underwent a superbly-executed restoration by marque specialist Simon Durant in 2010 to his usual exacting standard, and had the original service book with 12 stamps, and a very large file pre 2017, when we last sold it.

Odometer reading 103000m , last serviced at 102000m .

It comes with MOT (no advisories) to April 2027 and 6 months warranty on sale. .

On test on arrival it performed without fault– it’s cars like this that make me want to get up in the morning.
