Motodrome offer for sale this spectacular 1977 Bentley T1, finished in Caribbean Blue with dark blue hide.

These stately Bentleys (which are far rarer than their Rolls Royce Silver Shadow equivalents, with just 1703 produced 1966-77) are really coming into their own now, having shrugged off their wedding car image, yet are supremely stylish (especially in T1 form) and useable.

This is a very late T1, built just before the T2 came on stream in 1977.

Originally supplied by Jack Barclay, it’s had just one keeper since 2011 (V5 shows 8 former keepers), and he kept it, along with his other classics, in a temperature controlled facility in his time with the car.

Odometer reading 95000 miles, although there is correspondence in the extensive history file to show that the local Bentley dealer fitted a replacement speedo in 1980 at 8300 miles, so the milage should really be taken as 103500.

As above, the history file is very comprehensive, with a large sheaf of bills from Rolls Royce/Bentley main dealers and specialists, and old MOT’s back to 1993 and 41836m

It’s a really super-driving example, that’s starts on the button hot or cold, and simply glides along. It’s absolutely addictive.
