Restomod? Hot Rod? Streetrod? Custom car? Call it what you want, but it’s pretty special whichever name you give it.

And this one, in the desirable 2dr sport coupe form, gives you pillarless windows and just looks ultra cool.

The last owner, steeped in American classics, has had this since 2002, and has given it a ground-up restoration. which was only finally finished to his satisfaction in 2023. It’s well-known on the American car show scene her in the UK, and has apparently amassed nearly 30 trophies. It’s also been featured in Classic American magazine.

The engine is a Roadcraft UK GM350 (5.7 litre) ZZ4 short block with new 4-bolt main block, forged crank and high-silicone pistons, Edelbrock hydraulic ‘rollin thunder’ roller camshafts and lifters, Edelbrock Performer RPM cylinder heads with angled spark plugs, Edelbrock RPM Air Gap dual plane intake, Edelbrock double roller timing set, crank damper, hardened push rods, melling oil pump, HD oil pump rod, Felpro head gaskets, Milodon Street Performance oil pan, Edelbrock water pump, high torque starter motor, alloy timing cover.

With it’s Edelbrock 650cfm carburettor, MSD ignition, and billet alloy radiator it’s reputedly good for a reliable 400 bhp approx.

The engine was supplied new in 2018 and has covered around 2000 miles in the car.
