Here we have a unique oportunity to purchase a very rare 1972 MK1 Ford Capri 1600 GT XLR, Special Vehicle Order,No 5270.

I have just obtained this car from a significant private collection of classic cars . This car is near concours, and is in simply stunning condition throughout.

Ground up restored to a very high standard,whilst trying to retain as much originality as possible, this car could potentially win most shows it enters. The workmanship standard and condition is as good on the underside,as it is on top.

Presented in it's original colour ofspecial order Light Emerald Green Metallic, you really need to see it in the flesh to appreciate the quality of the car.

The rare SVO Capri was essentially Ford's way of Ford getting rid of the last pre facelift models, a run out model. There were only 300 built,all offered in either Black or Emerald Green.
The SVO cars were all fitted with Sports Wheels,Gold Stripes and a Powerbulge Bonnet,making then a bit special. Personally, I think,in that colour, this is the best looking MK1 Capri we've ever had.

This car has been subject to a no expense spared restoration. I'd say the car is better than when it left the factory, when new.. ( Not hard I know, with Ford's infamous 70's build quality ) It would cost an aweful lot more more than the asking price to restore this car today.

The car has the original SVO plate/stick on file,and an exact match replica on the car,which can be seen in the pictures.

We don't think you'll find another one of these for sale anywhere,and certainly not as good as this car.
