Description

If you want to stand out from the crow at your next Volvo show, look no further. Offered to market here is a striking and unique example of the beloved classic Volvo PV445 painstakingly converted into a pickup truck. Ideal for someone looking for a stand out classic commercial, a unique advertising piece, or just a nice usable classic this could be taken in a lot of different directions and it'll undoubtedly look cool no matter which one!

It really is a striking thing to look at. The front end of the Volvo remains true to form with the normal PV445 aesthetics however at the rear we find a full size pickup bed in the place of the typical rear passenger compartment. Cosmetically it seems to be in good order, with a few blemishes and marks etc as to be expected of a vehicle like this, but inside and out it remains a very cool thing.

Mechanically the truck appears to be ok and benefits from an upgraded 'B20' Volvo engine. We have taken it for a short test drive around our farm and it performed quite nicely; starting, running, driving etc. Though naturally as the truck has been in storage, a general going over and tune - adjust and bleed brakes etc - would be beneficial.
