Description

An exciting and intriguing example of a beloved motoring icon. Offered to market here is a lovely presentation of a desirable later classic Mini in a striking colour scheme. A rare 'Mini Mayfair' this charming little thing could make a great usable classic in the right hands.

Cosmetically the car seems fundamentally well. Finished in a brilliant purple colour scheme with contrasting white twin stripes and roof panel its a lovely thing to look at and a welcome change from the more common greens and blues seen on these. There are a few blemishes and flaws to the body commensurate with age and use etc but we feel it remains a striking thing as is.

Mechanically the little Mini appears well, the previous keeper informs us it has a 'stage 1' head/tune on it. We have taken it for a short test drive around our farm and it performed quite well; starting, running, driving and stopping.
