A desirable tax and MOT exempt classic cruiser from the golden era of Mercedes, this 1983 230 E saloon comes finished in an exceptionally rare and desirable green colour spec and holds some great potential for someone looking to get into an iconic classic Mercedes.

Finished in a lesser seen pale green with matching darker green interior it certainly looks the part. Cosmetically the car is OK, a striking thing with a few areas of bubbling and blemishing to the bodywork. The interior looks to be in good form, though the windows can be a little temperamental.

Mechanically the car appears to run and drive quite nicely. We have taken it for a short test drive around our farm and it ran, drove and stopped, though the brakes may need some slight adjustment/bleeding. Interested parties should note that the underside of the car will need some welding before a full return to the road.
