Vehicle Specifics
Description
This particular XK Convertible was registered in November 2007 and has covered just 66,819 miles.
Finished in the particularly attractive combination of Slate Grey metallic over Ivory Softgrain leather with a contrasting Warm Charcoal upper environment, it is also an unusually highly specified example.
The standard 4.2 XK Convertible had a UK list price of £66,097 at the time this car was registered. This particular example appears to have been ordered with approximately £9,450 worth of factory options, giving an original configured price in the region of £75,500 when new — remarkably close to the £76,097 starting price of an XKR Convertible at the time.
One of the most significant options is the desirable and uncommon Luxury Sport Interior.
Rather than the standard XK seats, this car features perforated Ivory Softgrain leather 16-way electrically adjustable seats, including adjustable side bolsters, lumbar support and extendible seat cushions. The front seats are heated and incorporate three-position memory, while the Luxury Sport specification also extends the use of Softgrain leather throughout the cabin.
Period pricing placed the Luxury Sport Interior alone at up to £2,995, with the Ivory trim adding approximately £750.
Other major factory options fitted to this car include the 20-inch Senta alloy wheels, which cost approximately £2,500, and CATS – Computer Active Technology Suspension, a £995 option which uses electronically controlled adaptive dampers to continually alter the suspension response according to road and driving conditions.
The upgraded 525W Alpine/Jaguar Premium Surround Sound system was another approximately £820 option, while the car also features Jaguar Smart Key with passive keyless entry, aluminium veneer, heated front windscreen, Front Park Assist and Air Quality Sensing with automatic recirculation

Exceptional history
The history is arguably one of the strongest aspects of this particular XK.
It is accompanied by its original Jaguar handbook pack, stamped service portfolio and a substantial collection of invoices and supporting documentation.
The service book records annual Jaguar main-dealer servicing from its first service in 2008 through to 2021, initially with H.A. Fox Jaguar before subsequently being maintained by Grange Jaguar, Stratstone Jaguar, Heritage Jaguar and Marshall Jaguar.
More recent maintenance has continued with independent and Jaguar specialists, including full services in both 2025 and 2026.
The accompanying invoices document in excess of £11,000 of expenditure, with the true figure higher still as a number of earlier servicing costs are not represented by surviving invoices.
Importantly, that expenditure goes considerably further than routine servicing.
Significant work documented within the history includes:
Rear brake discs and pads
Both rear lower wishbones
Air-conditioning condenser replacement and re-gas
Rear window regulator replacement
ABS sensors and associated diagnostic work
Front track rod ends
Rear track rod
Upper suspension components
Front anti-roll-bar drop links
Wheel alignment
Subframes cleaned and treated
Four matching Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 tyres
Professional Senta wheel refurbishment
New Bosch battery
In July 2025, the XK underwent a full service together with extensive suspension and steering work, during which the subframes were also cleaned and treated.
Four matching Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 tyres followed in February 2026.
A further full service, air-conditioning recharge and MOT were carried out in June 2026, followed shortly afterwards by a new Bosch battery fitted by Jaguar specialist Julian Ferraro.
Further ABS work was completed in August, with the Senta wheels subsequently professionally refurbished before the car received further balancing and alignment.
This is therefore considerably more than a car with simply a stamped service book; the extensive supporting paperwork provides a detailed record of the maintenance and substantial expenditure carried out throughout its life.
Condition
The car presents extremely well.
The Slate Grey metallic paintwork particularly suits the lines of the X150 and contrasts beautifully with the Ivory Luxury Sport interior. The recently refurbished Senta wheels and aluminium-finish side power vents complement the exterior particularly well.
Inside, the pale Ivory interior has survived extremely well for both its age and mileage. The perforated Softgrain leather, heavily adjustable Luxury Sport seats, Warm Charcoal upper environment and aluminium veneer give the cabin a noticeably more special appearance than that of the more commonly encountered standard XK.
The electrically operated fabric hood allows the car to transform from refined grand tourer to open-top V8 cruiser in seconds, while the removable wind deflector makes longer roof-down journeys considerably more comfortable.
Mechanically, the car drives very well and benefits from the considerable amount of suspension, steering and general maintenance completed during recent years.
As early naturally aspirated X150s increasingly establish themselves as modern-classic grand tourers, condition, history and specification become increasingly important. This car combines all three: sensible mileage, excellent presentation, an extensive maintenance record and an unusually expensive original specification.
Supplied with its original Jaguar handbook pack, stamped service portfolio, extensive invoice file, removable wind deflector and two keys.
