Porsche 911 - 930 Turbo Cabriolet Manual.

We have been consigned by our client to sell this stunning example of the Porsche 911 930 Turbo Cabriolet. Superbly completed with Grand Prix white paintwork to black detail a black mohair roof. Fuschs diamond cut alloy wheels to chrome tail pipes and factory tinted glass. The interior is completed with blue leather Porsche sports seats detailed with white piping to black dash surround and carpets.

This stunning 930 Turbo Cabriolet is truly exceptional. It has been in recent ownership for 7 years, and has been meticulously cared for and maintained over the years.

What makes this car unique is that it was the first registered and owned by Porsche UK , having been used as the promotional vehicle for the launch of the 930 Turbo cabriolet. The very first of around 50 RHD models for the UK market.

It featured heavily in the media, including on magazine covers - one of which is present and included with the car.

The car has a clean history and is in excellent and largely original condition - testament to the care it has received over the years . Though unrestored it has received full engine and gearbox removal and a top-end rebuild. 

Covering Just 52.743 miles from new - verifiable through a large and detailed history file showing the car has been superbly maintained throughout its life.

Interior / Exterior

The paint is largely original, but had some minor paintwork carried out by Porsche in 1999.

The paintwork has also received a Gtechniq ceramic treatment by a local specialist with a 5 year warranty, through to June 2031.

There are no chips scratches dents or blemishes on the body or paintwork other than some very minor ones to door edge and on the lower sill.

Original Fuchs alloy wheels present very well. They are fitted with a set of Continental ContiSportContact tyres with lots of tread remaining.

The seats, carpets and doorcards have no damage or notable imperfections - just the minimal wear expected with the mileage.
Everything on the car works correctly, including the electrics and hood.

Mechanics

The car starts, runs and drives perfectly. It has been used often, though sparingly on dry days.
The car has been serviced every year, except for a period when in storage between 2015-2019. The car covered no mileage during this time and was stored correctly and often rolled and ran to temperature.

Gearbox is tight and changes gear well.
The engine is original to the car, though has been subject to the documented top end rebuild with receipts of over £15000.00 The factory head studs which are a common issue point were replaced with ARP high tensile ones - widely regarded as the premium aftermarket standard and far superior to the OEM units.

During ownership the car has been exclusively managed for all servicing and maintenance needs by a very highly regarded air-cooled Porsche specialist.

Paperwork

A large and detailed history file is provided with the car, one that is around 4 inches thick. 

Any maintenance/ repairs have been detailed meticulously.

All Historic MOTs are present and validate the low mileage.
