The Relaxed Way To Drive A Sports Car...

The interior of this Sport Leicht (SL) is in excellent order.

The sports seats present in wear free condition and finished in Cream Sports Check (Code 075), with matching unmarked door cards. The seats also come with the rare heated seat option (Code 873).

The original cream plush velour carpeting is excellent throughout, as are the factory option, genuine Mercedes luxury tailored overmats. The original burred walnut veneer centre console, perfect, all controls, optional Blaupunkt Cambridge CC31 Stereo, gauges and electrics work as they were intended. Also fitted with the rare factory option outside temperature gauge in Celsius (Code 240) located in the centre dash vent aperture, the soft touch dash is unmarked and crack free.

A slightly smaller period leather-covered steering wheel has been fitted for easier access, the original steering wheel is in excellent order and comes with the car should you wish to change it back.

The boot is complete with original gorgeous cream carpets, original Mercedes unopened first aid box, original jack and tool roll.

This interior represents everything you would expect from such a low mileage example. Simply Wonderful...

Exterior

Power And Good Looks. Intrinsic Value And Distinction...

Finished in original factory Signal Red (Code 568), the paintwork has a deep bright uniform shine with no flaws whatsoever, having recently undergone paint correction work by the Bodyshop Team at the SL Shop in September 2023.

The original signal red matching hardtop is in perfect order, with excellent hood brightwork all round, and flawless cream headlining and comes complete with a hardtop stand.

The new mohair black hood (Code 740) is in exceptional order with crystal clear screens, free from any adverse wear and perfect fit.

All brightwork has a mirror finish, rubber side mouldings and all other body trim sections are excellent and scuff-free.

All original lights front and rear are in exceptional order with uniform colour and a silky polished finish, all glass and decals present in perfect order.

As you can see from the pictures, the panel fit is arrow-straight, exactly as it left the factory.

Wheels - The forged light alloy 15 hole wheels present in near perfect order and fitted with new all matching Continental UltraContact 206/65 15 tyres.

Brakes - The Dual-circuit ABS braking system has recently been completely overhauled, with all new discs, pads, calipers, a new master cylinder and fluid. The system offers powerful and reassuring stopping capabilities.

Engine & Transmission

Fitted with the awesome six-cylinder 2962cc in-line injection engine producing 188bhp at 5700rpm and 191lb ft of torque achieving a top speed of 123mph whilst offering incredible reliability and a respectable extra urban 30.1 MPG.

The engine bay is presented to show standard and retains all manufacturer stickers, plates and panel stampings, this originality is impossible to replicate.

The powerful and dynamic 3.0 engine is smooth and responsive, combined with the torque-converter four-speed automatic transmission and limited slip differential it offers pure driving pleasure.
