Description

A striking left field alternative to the more run of the mill Triumph or MG, the Sunbeam Alpine is a rather lovely classic British roadster with a lot going for it, and this 1964 Series 4 car is no exception. Fundamentally well presented, in running driving order, and with a full length tonneau it ticks a lot of the boxes and stands as a car that could arguably be used and lightly improved along the way. Perfect for these lovely summer months.

Cosmetically the car seems quite well, finished in a classic dark blue. It remains a presentable example of the breed throughout, with just general blemishes and age related marks making themselves known in places, the same can be said for the interior. There is a folding soft top roof attached to the car but this isn't in the finest form and could benefit from recovering or replacement.

Mechanically the Sunbeam appears quite well. We have taken it for a short test drive around our farm and it performed nicely; starting, running, driving and stopping. Having been used sparingly recently, a general tune up may be beneficial.
