Description

One of the best sports coupes of the era praised for its looks and performance, dubbed the 'baby E-Type' the Triumph GT6 has long been a fan favourite in the classic car scene. An older restoration, this 1971 'MK3' variant is a charming example of the breed that could make a nice usable summer classic, benefitting from a circa £5000 engine rebuild and overhaul in 2023.

Cosmetically the car can be considered fundamentally well. Presented in a nice period blue finish, it remains arguably one of the best looking cars of the era. This particular example remains presentable but with some blemishing and patches of bubbling making themselves known that could be improved upon.

Mechanically the car seems quite well. Subject to an extensive engine rebuild/overhaul circa 2023. We have taken it for a short test drive around our farm and it performed nicely; starting, running driving and stopping.
