The second generation W126 Mercedes S Class is quickly becoming a rather collectible thing, often regarded as one of the best engineered cars of all time, it does a marvellous job of mixing modern luxury and usability with the classic Mercedes style we all know and love.

An ideal candidate for restoration/recommissioning or a potential valuable source of parts, this 1987 car provides and interesting opportunity to acquire an early 420, with low displayed miles - we are led to believe may be genuine - offered to market for the first time in over a decade following long term storage.

Cosmetically the car is OK. Following long term storage the bodywork is highlighting some to be expected blemishing and bubbling with great scope for improvement. The interior looks to have been very well preserved.

We have got the Mercedes running and driving though, not perfectly. A full going over and mechanical refresh would be advised before a return to the road.
