One of the finest sports cars of its era, both to look at and to drive, the MGA is a sublime example of the British car industry at its best. This sought after RHD 1961 MGA 1600 is being offered to market from long term storage and holds a great deal of potential for someone looking for a striking classic sports car that can be improved upon, or with some TLC, used as is for the upcoming summer show season.

Cosmetically the car seems fundamentally OK. Finished in the classic red over red colour scheme its a marvellous car to look at. Having been in storage for some time, the bodywork exhibits with micro blistering throughout alongside some general lighter blemishes commensurate with age. The accompanying soft top roof unlatches and folds away with ease.

Mechanically the car seems well. We have had a new fuel pump and battery fitted and the little MG is now running and driving, though having been stored for some time, we would suggest a good going over/freshen up before a full return to the road.
