One of the marques finest sports roadsters, the Triumph Spitfire is a great little thing. Fun to drive, reliable and backed by a large parts supply and community of enthusiasts, they make great usable classic sports cars, ideal for the current warmer weather and show season.

This 1971 car is a sought after later example, praised for their improved dynamics, but one that boasts desirable earlier styling modifications making it wonderful blend of later usability and earlier classic style.

Cosmetically the car seems quite well. Finished in a classic light blue over black its a striking little car. There are a few areas of blemishing and bubbling making itself known, namely around a small patch of the windscreen frame, though we feel it can be considered fundamentally OK and presentable nonetheless.

The interior looks be be in good order and the folding soft top roof unlatches and folds down with ease.

Mechanically the Spitfire is in generally good order. We have taken it for a short test drive around our farm and it performed OK; starting, running, driving and stopping. Though we feel it good benefit from a nice tune up to get it running at its peak as it has seen limited use recently.
