Description

A staple of the classic VW and hot hatchback scenes, the MK2 Golf is an undeniable legend and true cult classic car. This 1991 three door variant is a rather exciting and interesting example, boasting a full 2.0 16v ABF engine swap along with a host of other mechanical upgrades to make this into a stylish, driver focused classic hot hatch. It is now looking for a motivated enthusiast to finish it off, just in time for the upcoming warmer weather and summertime!

Cosmetically the car looks quite well. Finished in a classic red throughout the bodywork is in generally good form, with just a few to be expected light marks and age related blemishing. To complete the custom look, a set of BBS style snowflake wheels have been fitted along with the desirable bigger bumpers. Inside looks well too, there are a few bits that could be tidied up and fixed in properly but overall it remains a nice place to be.

The previous keeper of the car had this running and driving however it has been stored for a short while. Since our acquisition we have had the car running and driving, however a good going over would be recommended to assure all ancillaries etc are in place and hooked up etc as we have not done this ourselves. The scorpion exhaust system is not complete or hooked up so this would need to be attended to.
