Offered for sale here is a 1938 Daimler New Fifteen with bespoke coachbuilding by Maltby’s of Folkestone, to create a glorious two door two seater sweeping coupe. Believed to be a 1 of 1 that has not been offered on the open market in many years, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

It’s an incredible car to look at. Brilliant from all angles and a true testament to the coachbuilder.

The car exhibits a charming, honest, well earned patina. There are blemishes here and there but it does look to be quite solid throughout. We feel that, though it is obviously not in perfect concours condition, it should be preserved exactly as it is cosmetically in order to retain its originality. However if you feel more inclined, it's a car that would arguably lend itself to restoration as well.

Inside is much the same story. Not perfect and could be improved upon if striving for perfection.

Mechanically the car is being sold as a non runner. We have had the car turning over comfortably, fitted a new starter motor and got it incredibly close to starting, however it is just not there yet and so we are selling the car as is in the hopes it goes to someone with good knowledge of these engines who can cross the finish line with it.
