1982 Monte Carlo S2 Coupe one of the last of only 1123 built which has had two owners from new and only done 71000km (44000mls). We have just enjoyed a fantastic drive back from Brescia in absolute comfort and warmth returning between 42-44mpg all the way. The condition of the car is outstanding and has been part of a private collection. The cambelt was replaced in 2024 2500km ago along with a large service. Everything works as it should with a strong heating system, the original interior is unmarked, the tyres are new and the original rear window stickers and paint code still intact. The engine bay is original with no repairs and original paint, even the scuttles under the windscreen are original! The car drives like a modern car and would be perfect for the classic car owner who wants to just jump in and go without fuss and the smells of older cars. The ‘Lampredi’ 2. 0 twin cam engine is a true delight being smooth and refined. The Montecarlo is a Pininfarina work of art and a very rare car today especially in this condition. The Montecarlo is currently excellent value but now starting to appreciate due to the demand for the modern classic range of cars, this model especially being related to the very successful Gr. b 037 Lancia rally car.
