The last word in executive motoring, the Jaguar XJ is a truly a remarkable thing. Praised heavily for their styling, comfort and dynamic abilities these have long been a favourite amongst enthusiasts and collectors and none more so than the coveted V12 variants. This 1978 Series 2 XJ is one such car, with the highly sought after 5.3 litre V12 engine under the bonnet. Thoroughly well presented throughout and boasting a 5 digit private registration plate, "DHC 89" is an undoubtedly smart example of the breed.

Cosmetically the Jag looks to be very well indeed, with quality blue paintwork throughout and a complementing vinyl roof, both of which looks to be in good clean order, highlighting very little in terms of age related marking or blemishes. The interior is in much the same shape, well preserved with just the to be expected general wear and tear commensurate with age in places.

Mechanically the car appears well. We have taken it for a short drive around our farm and it performed nicely; starting, driving and stopping.

Being a 1978 car, the Jag benefits from historic status and thus tax and MOT exemption.
