The Land Rover 110 is a vehicle whose reputation very much precedes it. Incredibly versatile, vastly capable and now, highly collectible. These trucks have long been a staple of the Ministry Of Defence line-up due to their rugged off road capability and general reliability, and luckily for the general public, once their time in service comes to an end, they are offered for sale. This 1987 110 is one such truck, which has been with one keeper its entire time in public ownership.

In desirable utility/pickup form with the sought after 2.5 litre diesel engine, this particular example stands in great "oily rag" form with an honest well earned patina throughout. Offering buyers an exciting opportunity to acquire a usable honest classic workhorse or to restore and refurbish to their hearts content as a fun winter project. The classic matte finish green paintwork is OK, boasting the to be expected battle scars throughout with the same being said of the interior and rear passenger/storage compartment.

The Land Rover seems fundamentally well from a mechanical perspective. We have taken it for a short test drive in which it performed nicely; starting, running, driving and stopping. Though following limited use and an extended period of storage, a general going over and service would be advised.
