The Volkswagen Beetle is very much the personification of the term "automotive icon". A true cult classic these wonderful things make brilliant, fun, standout and importantly usable classic cars.

This 1302 Beetle is a highly desirable Karmann cabriolet variant residing in desirable RHD form. Benefitting from extensive refurbishment and restoration work between 2014-16 including a colour change from blue to yellow, general bodywork and the fitting of a replacement 1.6 litre 50hp engine, this example can be seen as a very nice and striking presentation of the breed.

First registered in 1972 this particular car was imported into the UK in 1974 and has lived a very pampered life with careful enthusiast owners, the most recent keeper having owned the car since 2009.

The odometer reads at just over 53 thousand miles.

The interior is in good form and benefits from high back black front seats and the folding soft top roof unlatches and stows with ease.

Mechanically this Beetle appears well. We have taken it for a short test drive around our farm and it performed without issue; starting, running, driving and stopping.
