Purchased earlier this year by me, this spitfire had been owned by the same owner from new. Full provenance is available.

Exterior: Car was zierbarted and heavily waxoiled from new and always been kept in a garage, dry use only hence the chassis is completely solid. There is no corrosion

The paintwork which is Pageant Blue, is original and looks like new.
Bumpers have been re-chromed.
Matching Hardtop purchased when new remains with the car and is ‘as new’, as is the soft top.
Original wheels immaculate having been previously refurbished.

Mechanicaly: The gearbox (with overdrive) and engine have been professionally rebuilt, notably the engine 3k ago by Ivor Searle.
Genuine 51k miles
It drives incredibly well.
Meticulous program of maintenance throughout its life including practically every component (documented).

Interior: Exceptional throughout - Seats were refurbished a few years ago in original houndstooth upholstery.
Original tonneau, hood, and spare wheel covers (as suppled from new)

I’ve owned a fully restored spitfire prior to this that was in A1+/concors condition and I genuinely believe this is a nicer car.
It looks like it has just left the showroom!

I’ve MOT’d for peace of mind and put on a new set of tyres.

Original sales invoice and BL Service book/passport and full list of maintenance by original owner.

Previous featured in the Courier (TSSC) magazine and won ‘best in show’
