As any Cobra replica expert will tell you, Gardner Douglas have a reputation for being amongst the best engineered of the kits and this GD 427 is no exception even though they are generally not the most exact replicas of the originals. Beautifully built and properly sorted, it’s a pleasure to drive with a genuine Ford engine like the original AC Cobras and a delightful 5-speed gearbox. We sold this car to the 2nd owner circa 12 years ago and it has always been garaged and sparingly used since then. Still in superb condition throughout and ready to use.
