For sale my 1962 2-door Amazon [Agatha] with full length original Golde/ Webasto sunroof, and B18 (1. 8L) engine.

Agatha's a little bit special as she's an original 'Swedish' right hand drive car that was imported to the UK in Oct 1988, she also has the brilliant original full length Golde/ Webasto Sunroof which makes for great driving. And being an original 'Swedish' RHD car, all the interior chrome wording is in Swedish... so the new owner brush up on their Flakt and Ljus!

The car's in good original condition in SlateBlue #67 [which is a cracking colour]. The interior is in very good clean original used condition, which gives the car a bit of a time warp feel to it. She has covered 68, 250 Kms.

To make driving more comfortable, she has had a load of sensible upgrades during her time with me and the previous owner who I know well. The highlights include:

-Twin SU HS6 carburettors with stainless steel linkages
-4 Speed Overdrive Gearbox - which makes motorway driving, and any longer road trips, a breeze
-Upgraded to disc breaks on the front
-Rear seatbelts installed

There is a big file of receipts and invoices from regular services, mostly done by Rob at Amazon Cars, and by the Volvo specialist at the Car Vault garage in London.
Along with regular services, the most significant recent big jobs include:
- a top end engine rebuild in 2021,
-Webasto sunroof re-done in 2022,
-fitting a new clutch in December 2024,
-and recently a new fuel pump and filter (I have the original glass fuel filter if new owner wants to replace it).

So no shortage of money spent on her during my ownership (!).

Agatha had new inner+outer sills fitted 02. 2015 by her then owner costing £2721. 50 [receipted]. These are still solid.

The car is 63 years old, and there is some cosmetic rust bubbling through, most notably above the headlights, around the corner of the boot-lid, and the rear driver side arch is also rusty. I’ve tried to capture this in the photos, but can take some more if a potential buyer would like these. I do have a replacement rear wheel arch ready for a new owner to weld in, should they want. This is included in the sale.

All in all, this is a good example of a great car. We’ve enjoyed driving it around town, and also on longer road trips. But with a 12 week old baby, I don’t foresee any more road trips in her for now. Hopefully she goes to someone who’s going to enjoy it as much as we have.
