Tartan Red with Black trim piped Red, This desirable RHD home market early three-bearing crank pull door handle MGB was originally built at Abingdon on the 24th September and despatched to the Surrey MG Dealer Haslemere Motor Company Ltd of Guildford, Registered on the 7th October 1964 with the Surrey registration number EPE 17B, Supplied with the factory options of Front anti-roll bar, Smiths heater, BMC radio, Ashtray, Tonneau cover and Wire wheels, Complete with Spare wheel, Tonneau bars & Jack, A photographic 4,000 hour nut & bolt restoration by concours guru Derek Mayor was carried out in late 1980’s and subsequently EPE 17B dominated the concours circuit through the 1990’s with awards for Benson and Hedges International Masterclass Champion, Autogylm Concours 1st Gold Class, Autogylm Concours Regional Winner, MG Owners Club National Master Class Winner, MG Owners Club Premier Class Winner, MG Day Best Chrome Bumper MGB, MG Car Club Class winner, Brooklands Spring Gathering Best MGB, MG Car Club Best MG, MG Owners Club 1st Concours – MGB Chrome, The Queen Victoria Concours MG Car Club Post 1960Car of the Show, MG Owners Club 1st Premier Class Winner, MG Car Club The McMullen Cup & Award for best Classic, MGCC Best MGB, MGCC International Silverstone 1st Premier Concours, MGOC Premier Concours, MGCC Queen Victoria Concours 1st Premier Concours & McMullen Cup plus Award for best MGB to name a few !
