INTERIOR
This high specification SE model is trimmed in Lago colour scheme Jacquard Contour upholstery, (Code BP), with complementing Quartz aluminium inlay in Stripes Design. The entire interior remains in absolute perfect order throughout. The seats retain firm bolsters and seat structure retaining correct shape and absolutely no deterioration to the material. The supreme build quality can be felt in all buttons, controls and functions, all of which operate perfectly and feel like new. The LCD displays to the Driver Information System, onboard computer, warning systems and climate control are all in perfect order with no failed pixels whatsoever. The headlining, fascia and doors cards are as new and the quality carpets are pristine having been protected from new by genuine Audi floor mats and a second set to cover the first! ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The whisper quiet four-cylinder DOHC engine with Motronic engine management system is entirely standard and performs perfectly, a testament to the low mileage and fastidious servicing and maintenance carried out since new. Lifting the bonnet reveals a pristine engine bay complete with factory plates, stickers, panels stampings and even PDI markings! WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original and unrestored SE 7J x 16 Ten Spoke design alloy wheels with unmarked centre caps are in superb order. Factory supplied Dunlop SP Sport 8000E 205/55 R16 tyres are fitted and the original matching spare alloy wheel and factory tyre has never seen use! Perfect for connoisseur collectors but if the car is to have regular use they should be renewed. The Advanced Anti-Lock System (ABS) features discs to all four wheels to offer powerful, assured and safe braking power.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on the 1st September 1999 by Main Dealer, Smith Knight Fay Audi in Bolton, this exceptional example has enjoyed Father and Son ownership from new until 2020 with just one Audi enthusiast and collector since. A new car sales invoice made out to the first owner confirms a total price paid including factory options of £21,010.71 less part exchange allowance for a 1996 A4 1.6 SE, so clearly a fan of the marque! In 2019 the car was passed to the first owners’ son of the same name and address. The third owner acquired the car in 2020 whereby it joined an impressive collection of classic and modern classic Audi’s including a fully loaded Audi A8L.

The exceptionally low 17,207 miles is fully verified in the comprehensive vehicle history including the original service book with sixteen stamped entries, ten of which being Audi main dealer. A separate folder holds invoices and MOT records and the most recent service was carried out in August 2024. In 2021 at 16,864 miles, the cambelt and tensioner was replaced using genuine VAG parts with supporting invoice and service book entry. All handbooks, guides and dealership literature have been kept in the immaculate black leather wallet along with three Audi keys with original key code tag and supplying dealership fobs.
