The unmistakable Mini Cooper Sport with large body coloured extended wheel arches, 2 driving lamps and 2 fog lamps and a large bore chrome tailpipe finisher.

Finished in stunning Charcoal metallic with a white roof, white door mirrors and matching bonnet stripes. The paintwork is exceptional throughout with a uniform deep shine complemented by the single white coach line and correct John Cooper Sport 5 factory decals on the rear wings.

Wheels, Tyres & Brakes

Filling the extended Cooper Sport wheel arches are the original 13 x 6 inch Cooper Sport Alloy Wheels with correct John Cooper centre caps. Fitted with all matching excellent 175/50 R13 Yokohama A539 tyres, the space saver spare has never been fitted.

Brakes - Servo assisted, diagonal split dual circuit system with front discs and drum rears.

Handling is razor sharp as you would expect from a Mini Cooper, rack & pinion steering, independent suspension with Telescopic hydraulic dampers.

Engine & Transmission

The Mini Cooper S Sport 5 model was a new model exclusively offered by John Cooper Garages from new which boosted power to 86 bhp with a reworked engine, large valve, fully ported S stage cylinder head, 1.5 roller rockers, 5 speed Jack Knight helical gearbox and Koni suspension.

Fitted with the 1275cc, 4-Cylinder, transverse OHV engine with electronic twin-point fuel injection.

The engine and engine bay are fully detailed and display all of the original factory stickers and visual aid plastic information cards which are all too often discarded.

On the road she drives like a dream, super responsive handling, slick 5 speed gearbox with KAD Quick Shift and the sound from the roller rockers and exhaust system is addictive... Pure John Cooper Mini magic

Registered new By John Cooper Garages Limited, 50 Ferring Street, Ferring, Worthing, Sussex on 1st December 1997 and sold to its first keeper Mrs S Winship at a cost of £14,522 who cherished it for the next 20 years.
