I have for sale, this lovely example of one of the very last Ferrari UK RHD 308 GTS's t has been part of a small private collection since it was purchased by the current owner ( a very close Freind of mine) from Marranello's the oldest Ferrari main agent in the Uk in 1995, the car was put in to storage along with a few of his cars in the early 2000's, then last year he decided that he wanted to have a sort out of his collection and so had the car sent to a very well known Ferrari specialist QV London ( very well respected in the UK Ferrari owners club!) to have the car completely overhauled, checked through and a huge service carried out and with the plan to make it one of the best in the UK and he's has accomplished that with my help and advice. The car it's self has had every thing checked and replaced where needed including the Cam belts and tensioners and in some cases replaced to make it look even better ( as you can see in 2 of the photos, the car was in very very good condition before the work was carried out and did not have any rust or had any accident damage and therefor the Piant is pretty much as original ( not sure if a previous owner had any done but as it was sold to the current owner by the main agent the car had to be a very good one!), the interior was again very good and has had a very good clean and leather has been fed the inner sections of the seats have been replaced with leather in the correct factory Finnish as it was supplied with Red cloth and as you will see in the next load of photos it was faded and tired but I spoke to the Head of the UK Ferrari classiche certification and he said it was perfectly OK to do it as long as it was to the period speck and I had it done by the right upholsters "Strong and Turton" of London, the carpets are also original but we had the edges re bound in in the correct material, the engine has had a full overhaul and again every thing stripped down and checked and components replaced if where needed, the electrics again have been checked and every thing works including the clock! And the Windows have been stripped down and checked and re greased so they work at the correct speed and not noisy, we also put brand new and correct TRX tyres on the car that would have been supplied on the car when new.
All in all the car is beautiful and comes with its original books/tool kit and previous service invoices, original show room sales brochure and copies of the original purchase order from the selling agent and from selling agent to the factory.
