1972 VW T2 Bay Window Westfalia Continental Camper Van. Right Hand Drive. Older full restoration vehicle. Pop Top Roof.

Reconditioned VEGE 1600cc engine and original Hi- ratio gearbox, new carburettor and electronic ignition.

This is a rare and special factory right hand drive Westfalia with the elevating pop top roof. Vehicle was restored and still remains in excellent condition inside and out with no rust and good paint with a quality beige canvas including three opening side sections with mozzy nets. The bus is also a desirable walkthrough model meaning that you can walk freely from the cabin to the habitation area when required without the need to exit the vehicle.
In the upstairs section, there is a well-engineered double bed with a flip opening hatch section for access, ideal for children or even small adults. This makes the van a 4 berth with further opportunity to increase the living and sleeping space with the use of a good quality original vintage/retro driveaway awning. We have owned this bus for many years and has been very reliable and is a great driving bus. This vehicle has been part of our classic car collection and has been well maintained over the years with lots of service data, original correspondence, photos of restoration.
