Most Testarossa were built in 1990/91, the much rarer early cars such as this 1986 car are easily distinguishable by their Monospecchio high flying single mirror and the much sought after “Monodado” single nut wheels’(reverting to normal height twin mirrors for 1987 production vehicles). In fact we believe there to be 1 just 48 RHD Monospecchio Testarossas. Another noticeable characteristic of the early cars is the “knock of wheels”. What is less appreciated is that the 288 GTO suspension was used on these early Testarossas.

Held by a private collector, it has of course been stored professionally with expense not an issue. Although it continues to enjoy a pampered existence unlike some cars in collections its owner ensures its driven regularly, believing correctly regular light use is the best way to ensure top performance. The car has done just over 50,000 miles over its 31 year life, and whilst you may question my objectivity as a dealer I can assure you throughout my career I have owned and driven many Testarossas and this is the best I have driven.

The car comes with a comprehensive service history together with numerous MOT certificates and bundles of invoices (the current owner has his Ferrari’s looked after by Ferrari experts QV London). Both the exterior coachwork and the sumptuous interior are in excellent condition and has It is eligible for Ferrari Classiche as a completely original car, still with the original exhaust system and Ferrari ANSA labels.
