motodrome offer for sale this distinctive 1997/R Land Rover Defender 90 300TDi County Station Wagon, in 7 seater spec, in metallic blue with a white roof.

This is an original County Station Wagon, not a conversion from a van.

Specification-wise it’s largely standard, with the full County pack, but also has
• Boost alloys
• Side steps
• Rear step
• chequerplate to modesty covers and rear quarters
• mudflaps
• towpack

It also appears at some point that it’s been put onto a galvanised chassis which has been painted black.

Internally, it has the correct cloth seats 3 in the front, 4 in the back, all with belts) covered with waterproof covers, and radio/CD.

This one has an unusually low odometer reading of 85000 miles, and comes with history including the original service book showing evidence of 15 services, and a small selection of bills. Last serviced at 76101m. We’ve recently fitted a new alternator and belt to it.

Being a factory 300TDi version, it nips along nicely with good punch from the Turbodiesel motor, and with it’s standard-fit power steering it’s easy to handle too. In my opinion it drives very well indeed. .
