Description

The Austin A 35
In the 50s the British Motor Corporation had their minds set on creating an affordable, small family car that could fit four adults and their luggage in as small a space as possible. The Austin A30 was born and a few successful years later the more powerful and updated A35 was released. The affordable vintage Austin provided many families with the opportunity to hit the roads and as such was very much a car for the working-class, an ideal means of transport for the roads of Britain especially as motorways were only just starting to be built.

Undeniably, this A35 is a charming little car, with its simplistic, spacious layout it's easy to see why they were so popular with the families of Britain. This car is in really good shape. There are a few minor blemishes present but nothing that distracts from its beautiful classic appearance
Summary
An iconic vehicle that provided the means of transport for thousands of families back in the 50s and 60s. These little cars provide huge amounts of joy, for some they are a reminder of their childhood, for others a survivor from an era when Britain was bouncing back after WW2. A charming car and a great classic. MOT till April 2024
