2CV Dolly 1986 under 19,000 miles. Essentially as new. A one owner car totally as new condition, extensive history.

Supplied by Woolleys of Windermere and first registered on 2nd May 1986.
This dolly was bought by the original owner for his wife. Upon his death the car was transferred to his widow and has been laid up since 1991.
I was asked to rebuild it in 2010 with the mileage then at 18,194. On a Dutch manufactured replica Citroen pattern Steel chassis, this was preferred to a galvanised ladder type, to return authenticity and give a compliant ride. New floor pans, bulkhead, lower panel, wheels, bumpers and vent flap fitted but all other panels including Sills are original, also original are the upholstery and interior trims as are all mechanicals, suspension and shockers.
The only replacement items were a new fuel pump, roof and new Michelins were fitted.
Since the work was completed the car travelled a mere 100 miles and was then garaged and never used.
The previous owner sold it to me recently as she was moving house and was no longer confident enough to drive it.
It has been recommissioned and serviced in June, it took part in the national All-Ireland Citroen rally. The 500 mile journey being the longest distance it has travelled in 27 years.
​This highly original and unmolested Dolly is now rare desirable and has still not yet reached 19000 miles.
