As you can no doubt see from the photos above, this model of the legendary 1960`s Mercedes Coupe is a real joy to behold.





The previous deceased custodian to this wonder car bought her many years ago from sunny Spain with the intentions of giving her a light restoration and using her as a daily runner in the summer months. Since his demise the car has sat idle and untouched, and this is how she has come to us, and how she is being sold.





We were going to attempt to get her started but unfortunately the ignition key snapped in the barrel. For this reason, she is being sold as a non-runner requiring mechanical work and cosmetic TLC.





The bodywork on this Coupe appears fundamentally very solid but there are a few little areas of imperfections that you may wish to attend to. The paint work is weathered and worn and is probably best described as patinaed.





The interior is in line with the exterior, usable but worn/weathered/torn.





In summary this car is in relatively solid overall condition but still requires some general/overall TLC to bring her up back up to a top level (if this is indeed your goal). Personally, I love her just the way she is, carrying that wonderful patina, but if you chose to go down the refurb road then I`m guessing you could easily and drastically improve on your investment, especially if you chose to go whole hog as these cars can make BIG money.





The previous owner hadn`t got as far as registering her in this country so this will have to be done at a later stage once restored and back on the roads. I`m not up to speed on the current procedure of this, or what is required, but there is quite a lot of Spanish paperwork with the car to hopefully assist you in this quest.





I have seen these cars regularly advertised in the 50k+ region in standard form. The prices are only going one way so I`m sure they`ll all be in the 45k+ bracket within a few very short years so this car, at the reserve I have set her, could be an unbelievable bargain to someone with a prudent eye.
