Mr Gerard Wherity took delivery of his new company car, a Mercedes Benz 230TE, during April 1990. Gerard was so pleased with her that in 1993 he bought the car from Cowie Finance for £14,000 with 30,000 miles on the clock. Since 1993 the car has averaged 6,000, miles each year, always been garaged, used mainly on motorways and, in his words, has been an absolute joy to own and is just about run in @ 164,000 miles

Today the car is one of the best, most original W124’s you could wish to own. The car has never been in an accident or resprayed, serviced every year regardless of cost and all electrics work (including central locking, air conditioning, windows, sunroof, heated seats and near side door mirror)

Last year she failed an MOT for the first time since 1994 and Gerard decided to “bring her up to scratch” with new radiator, engine mountings, exhaust manifold repair and exhaust system.
