First established by the Defender and now the central feature of every Land Rover, greater visibility of the way ahead and surrounding area. The simple interior offers everything you need, the instrument cluster houses the speedometer, rev-counter, water and fuel gauges. There’s a large grab handle on the passenger side within easy reach. The 4 black leather and fabric unmarked XS seats are arranged stadium style for better all round visibility, the driver and passenger seats are heated. Air conditioning keeps the cabin comfortable and a premium single CD/radio stereo provides the entertainment. New factory Land Rover heavy duty rubber mats both front and rear protect the floors. In the centre houses a cubby box and 2 cup holders all as per XS specification.

Exterior

The optional Stornoway Grey Metallic paintwork is in exceptional order all round as you can see from the pictures. Tinted glass, smoked side window wind deflectors, mudflaps, towbar, rear search light, Mantec spare wheel carrier, brand new XS side steps, retractable rear step, steering guard, aluminium sill chequer plate all compliment the exterior look of this lovely XS model.

The underside is exceptionally clean and clear waxoiled it's clear to see this has not been used regularly off road.

New for 2007 Defender's - Ford 2401cc 16v 4-cyl turbodiesel engine, 122bhp @ 3500rpm, 360Nm of torque @ 2000rpm, slicker six-speed manual gearbox for better on-road use and fuel economy, four-wheel drive with high and low gear ratios, 14.7 sec 0-60mph, 82 mph, 28.3mpg.

The engine and engine bay are fully detailed again it's clear to see this one has not been used as a regular off road vehicle.

For 2007, the Defender gets one of its biggest-ever revamps. The major changes are a new common-rail diesel EU4-compliant engine from the Ford Transit, a new six-speed gearbox, new facia, new seats and a heating and ventilation system that actually works.
