This beautiful looking 1973 MGB Roadster was the pride and joy of her previous custodian for many years before age got the better of him and was therefore unable to complete his dream rebuild.

As you can see from the photos above this car still looks totally usable as-is, but she is not currently going to win you any classic car shows as there are many paint and body imperfections that you may wish to attend to, but on the whole, she appears easily recoverable.

On getting her back to the farm we set about getting her running again. To our surprise with just a little tinkering and tapping here and there she roared back into life and sounded remarkably well considering her time spent in storage.

I would say this beautiful little British classic is the perfect use and improve candidate for the home enthusiast. A good going over/recommissioning/servicing would obviously be necessary before returning her back to the open roads, after this it`s up to you as to how far you wish to go with the overall restorative work.

This Roadster will be an absolute bargain and a joy for someone, especially as I am seeking nowhere near the 25k+ you see some top examples advertised for. In fact, this could be a perfect little investment opportunity, so take this as your lucky day if you`re in the market for one of these beautiful and desirable little gems but haven`t quite got the funds to stretch to the 15k+ required for a top example.

In summary (and in my opinion) this is a good-looking car that starts OK but due to long term storage, I would strongly suggest a good going over/service/tune-up of all vulnerable and moving parts before returning her back to the open roads as she has not been used for some time now and it would just be darn right silly not to in my opinion. In addition to this, the paintwork is far from perfect and the detached soft-top would probably require replacing, all of which may or may not be of concern to you, but as I`m no expert it may just be better/easier for you to come and examine for yourself.

All our cars are sold `as seen` so please feel free to come and view `beforehand` to make sure you will be totally happy with your purchase once bought.
