As you can no doubt see from the photos above, this rare BMW 750 iL looks absolutely stunning in its beautiful metallic blue livery, complimented by its full grey leather interior.

The shape of these classic iconic E38 BMW 750 ilLs is still an absolute beauty to the eye and guaranteed to turn heads wherever they go.

These models are now exchanging hands anywhere between £12,000 all the way up to around £20,000+…!!!

This beautiful car has seen very little use of late due to the previous owner having an intermittent issue with the starter motor and not having the time to get it sorted. To be totally honest he (or us) have taken it no further but since in our possession it has never failed to start. This said, I`m sure an issue must be there somewhere or he wouldn`t have mentioned it.

The engine starts and runs fine but there does seem to be a little miss going on so maybe a good service/tune-up is required before returning to the open roads.

Bodywork wise she still looks fundamentally solid to the whole upper side. There are some small areas of bubbling, blistering and light corrosion, but overall, she is still a relatively attractive 90`s chariot. Without access to any ramps, examination to the underside is limited, but from what I could see at ground level she appeared all reasonably solid under there. No doubt backed up by the existence of a current MOT certificate.

The interior is similar to the exterior, as in she is generally OK but by no means perfect but is most definitely still a pleasant place to be.

I would summarise by saying this car still looks fundamentally solid, stylish and cool, starts on the button and runs and drives fine. There are some body and paint imperfections and some loose/missing and worn trims, so if you`re after a trailer queen then you may wish to attend to these to perfect her, but if like me you prefer classic cars in their natural beautiful raw state, then she is definitely more than usable as-is, after the advisory long-term layup recommissioning.

This, I feel, is a perfect opportunity and time for someone to buy one of these wonderful BMW 750 iL`s at what can only be considered as a once in a lifetime ridiculously low price, especially considering the spec of this particular car and that top-end cars are currently being advertised for as much as £20.000+…!!! A small amount of TLC will make this car worth considerably more.
