These J70 models are becoming quite a rare sight on our roads these days, hence prices are on a steady rise. Much nicer to drive than the earlier models and not as common as the later models.



These models are now `selling` for anything between £9,000, all the way up to around £18,000+ for top end examples. The reserve on this one has been set very low (in my opinion) to entice a hassle-free sale.



The previous custodian to this fundamentally solid little J70 spent quite a bit of time getting her to where he wanted her to be for regular runs to and from the beach. She now starts and drives fine with no obvious untoward noises coming from the drive train.



The exterior all seems relatively solid but there are obviously imperfections to both body and paint that you `may` wish to attend to if you`re of a pedantic nature looking for a trailer queen, as opposed to a good-looking, go-anywhere, daily summer/winter user.



So, in summary this is a good looking usable classic J70 Jeep that will only increase in value over time. She is good to look at but has got some cosmetic flaws you may wish to attend to. If like me you don`t want to be worried as to where you take or leave your classic Jeep, then I feel this is the vehicle for you.

I am very keen to sell hence I have set a very realistic and easily achievable reserve especially considering their increasing values and that similar vehicles are often advertised for 5 figure sums...

One point of note, the previous owner did suggest it may need a new heat exchanger.
