Description

1972 Citroen HY Van previously sold by us and has been used as a gin bar. The 'H' had a unitary body, independent suspension, and front-wheel drive. First registered in France in 1972 and UK-registered in 2014. It was restored here, with a bare metal respray and an engine overhaul. The interior was re-trimmed in Red Connolly hide. A lovely, quirky French commercial offering its new owner a host of opportunities. We have a history file with the van which includes some French documents and an invoice from Citroen Classics of Middlesex for £2300 for work carried out when the van arrived in the U.K. The van was sold by us a few years ago and underwent a lot of work to convert this into this gin bar, with mains electricity that runs off a generator, a sink with space for a fridge underneath, worktops, and the side of the van all held down with brass latches, lights and a wooden panelled roof. This van could carry on life as a bar or be used for many other business ventures especially with the easing of restrictions. One strut on the back has broken but we have ordered a new one. Upon test drive this Citroen drove just as she should with a strong engine and a smooth gearbox. This van is a great business venture with advertising potential and combined with classic motoring is ready to be enjoyed for many years. Without doubt the most economical and successful form of advertising known to man! Absolutely any inspection is welcome. Viewing is highly recommended, and we know you won't be disappointed. All major debit cards accepted. Please contact us for any further information. UK mainland delivery included. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram @morseclassics
