As you can no doubt see from the photos above this original 1989 classic Austin Mini has the potential to be a truly wonderful little classic, and with prices of these classic Minis still on the rise, this could prove a very prudent investment indeed.

This particular little Classic Mini provides someone with the opportunity to use as-is or to modify/restore to the level that best suits their own personal desires, needs and/or wishes.

She has been stood for a while so once back at the farm we set about putting some fresh fuel in, charging the battery, playing with the ignition, obtaining a spark and then turning the key… Almost instantly, whoosh, away she went.

She was a paused project by the previous owner that was never un-paused hence she still needs some finishing. I feel the pictures show the condition well but please feel free to come and view as it would be impossible to itemise or guess what parts are important to you.

With the above in mind, if you choose to buy without viewing/examining then she is being sold as a full restoration as to save on any ambiguous questions/answers when coming to paying and collecting, as the `viewing` cannot be done after the auction has ended.

As you can see the interior has been tastefully upgraded.

In summary, and in my opinion, she is still in overall OK and easily retrievable condition, but the bodywork/paintwork has imperfections that you will probably wish to attend to. I have not studied the underside of the car in any great detail but from what I can see at ground level she appears easily retrievable under there too but please feel free to come and examine this car for yourself as I am neither a qualified panel beater nor mechanic, so it is for you to satisfy yourself as to what you are bidding on.

I am very keen to sell hence I have set a very realistic and easily achievable reserve especially considering their increasing values and that similar like-for-like vehicles are easily achieving figures in excess of £10,000+…
