This is a really great opportunity for some lucky person to lightly restore this very desirable 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Austin Mini Thirty.
This vehicle is an ideal investment opportunity. You could do nothing, put this car away in storage and your money would continue to grow year on year, of that I`m sure …
Welcome to the sale of this sure-fire investment opportunity Mini 30th anniversary LE finished in the best/only colour to have - Black. This is the 30th-Anniversary Limited Edition model that is one of only 1000 UK Black models ever produced and has been in the UK since new. This limited-edition commemorative model was introduced in 1989 and was created to celebrate the 30 years of the Mini production. A total production run of approx. just 3000 were manufactured for the UK market.
This particular wonderful little car comes with a long MoT along with some very recent service receipts totalling some £3,000 for various works completed.
Although rarely used by the previous owner once back at the farm we quickly set about getting her running to take her for a quick spin. With just a quick jump of the battery she started on the button and drove surprising well considering she had been rarely used for quite some time. There were no funny noises coming from the engine bay and the gearbox and brakes performed as one would expect.
Bodywork wise she could do with some light restoration work to bring her back to her former glory. As per the photos there are areas of corrosion to the body that you may wish to attend to. Going by the recent MoT one would assume the underside is not too bad, but this is for you to have examined as we have no lifting facilities let alone knowledge to pass an accurate judgement on such matters. We sell, drive and enjoy classic cars, we do not restore or repair them.
So, in summary this is potentially a really valuable little classic car that has some body/paint imperfections that, if so desired, with an adequate amount of restoration work could quite easily match those examples currently retailing @ £15,000+.
With the above in mind, and with what I have seen available on the open market today, this car, in this condition, at this price, should prove an absolute bargain of a buy whilst still proving a very prudent investment choice to boot… ;-)
With top examples asking £15,000+ you`d be out of your mind not to have a cheeky little bid on this fine example if you`re currently in the market for one of these, or if indeed you are just looking for a sure-fire investment opportunity.
I am very keen to sell hence I have set a very realistic and easily achievable reserve.
As with all our cars, due to long term storage I would always strongly suggest a good going over/service/tune-up/recommissioning of all vulnerable and moving parts before returning them back to the open roads (MoT`d or not) as they have not normally been used for some time and it would just be darn right silly not to on a modern car let alone a classic of a bygone era.
