1997 (1998 model) Bentley Brooklands R finished in Sherwood Green with Parchment hide interior piped Green. Covered just 73,000 miles with full service history mostly with Bentley main agents, the rest with Bentley specialists. The history file includes many invoices for works carried out as well as a fully stamped service book and drivers handbook. The Brooklands R was the successor to the standard Brooklands, making its debut appearance for the 1998 model year, the last year of the SZ cars. It was then the only car in the Bentley range that was standard wheel base. It had the same styling as the Turbo RT with colour coded everything, RT steering wheel and mesh radiator grille and mesh air ducts. The Brooklands R also received the road holding pack from the Turbo R including the suspension and performance braking system. Of the 79 Brooklands R’s built by Bentley, just 22 were right hand drive, making it one of the rarest Bentleys ever made. This example has been maintained to a very high standard all its life and is presented in outstanding condition throughout; it represents excellent value being one of the very last and rarest.
