This superb Fiat 500 has spent its entire life up to 2017 in Northern Italy . In March 1970 it was purchased new by a Signor Giovammi who kept the car and after his passing went to his son who stored the car for 28 years, warranted 55,700 miles or (89,600kms) In 2017 Italian Sports and Classics exhumed the 500, pictures of this remarkable preserved Fiat as the car was removed from its shelter are with the cars history file. The car was then brought to the UK and Italian Sports and Classics performed a sympathetic restoration as you see the car today. All the mechanicals were stripped and checked and the engine was uprated to 650 cc with full synchronised gearbox which gives a third more power and torque and makes the Fiat much easier to drive and can keep pace with modern traffic. Brakes, wheel bearings, suspension including king pins were replaced, refinished in its original blue with all bright work rechromed or replaced. Rear luggage rack and new picnic hamper were fitted. This car is hugely original with all original floors and panels and the structure has not been welded since production. All the interior trim is original including seat facings and carpets. A stunning example of the Lusso (luxury) model which has fabric sunroof, exterior Nudge bars, Full interior carpeting.
