Ford Escort Mk2 RS2000. Car has been recently restored to a very good standard and has had an absolute fortune spent on it. Its a very good looking car and drives very well. All chassis numbers, vin plates etc are intact, We have the current style V5 document which states Escort RS. If your looking for a concourse car its probably not for you, but then again they are 35K plus. If your looking for a really tidy useable example read on.....There are a lot of cars about the 20k price mark which need work. I dont think you could get them to this standard for the difference in price.

Body - MK2 Escort RS shell with all the correct strengthening plates. No signs of rust and all coated with stonechip or similar and painted body colour underneath. Paintwork is lovely with no chips or scratches or marks as only recently completed. Very good looking car. Vin number visible on strut top.

Mechanics - Brand new crate pinto which the owner managed to source. Great find as dont think these have been available for a long time. 5 speed box conversion. Everything underneath is either painted or powder coated. New springs, shocks, brakes, brake pipes, bushes, lowering blocks , Handbrake cable. New alloy radiator, new strut top mounts. Car starts runs and drives well and feels very tight as you would expect with everything being new. Springs feel uprated as ride is quite firm but handles well. Engine starts no problem and is quiet as you would expect being brand new. Very minor flat spot or hesitation when car is cold but clears as soon as its warm. I could live with it but new owner may want to sort it.

Interior - Good dash top, Fully retrimmed roll top recaros, Mint uncut door cards. New headlining, New centre console. New carpet Car is mint inside .

Wheels - Refurbished RS alloys with brand new tyres.

Overall as previously mentioned a very tidy car which has had fortunes spent on it. You would struggle to buy a lesser car and get it to this stage for the same money. Please feel free to come and see it. We can put it up on the ramp. Delivery can be arranged if required. please ask for a quote.
