I recall vividly when James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) wowed us back in 1996 when he showed up in “GoldenEye” behind the wheel of the new BMW Z3M, a dazzling 2 seater roadster !

Introduced in 1998 and assembled in BMW’s US plant in Greer, South Carolina, the Z3M was designed to be a performance version of the Z3, featuring a revised body, that included new front and rear bumpers, wider rear wings and a different boot lid.

Along with the styling cues,BMW’s Motorsports division took the Z3M and shoehorned in the performance version of the most beloved 6 cylinder engines in the auto industry from the BMW E36 M3 upping the power to 321BHP !!

That glorious engine combined with a racing suspension and monster brakes resulted in the highest performance car BMW had built at the time, becoming what the UK’s Top Gear declared the best handling car in the business.

21 years haven’t aged it much. The 321 BHP still push the little pocket rocket to 60mph in a tick over 5 seconds. The rush of acceleration comes with a throaty growl from its quad exhausts that still drop peoples jaws today !! The roadster still gets compliments today for its timeless design.

This BMW Z3M is in SUPERB condition.
