The Porsche 911 993 is arguably the last in the line of Porsche's that were designed by engineers for sports car drivers.
• The last of the air cooled generation.
• Rack and pinion steering.
• A revolutionary multi link rear suspension, which transformed the handling.

The S models benefits over the standard Carrera in many key areas:
• Varioram engine, increasing the output from 272 bhp to 285 bhp
• Lowered chassis
• wide body of the Turbo model
• Turbo front and rear bumpers
• Split rear grill

The 993 C2S is arguably the most desirable of the normally aspirated 993’s with its driving experience more pure than the C4S. This is due to it weighing 25kg less allowing it to be marginally quicker over a standing kilometre, nimbler on the road and features lighter steering that gives a more communicative feel at the helm. And of all the 993 models built, only 251 manual right hand drive models.

The original 911 was rear engined and rear wheel drive with a manual gearbox, so it is fitting for this Porsche to stay true to its heritage by being the last air-cooled version produced in a specification as originally intended.

This stunning example is finished in Arena red with black leather interior, and was delivered new by Porsche Rivervale in February of 1997. It has been in great hands ever since, and meticulously maintained as detailed below.
