Marie Curie

Everyone deserves the right support at the end of life

Whether someone has months, weeks, or days left to live, Marie Curie is here to provide clinical and emotional care. Marie Curie supports individuals to be comfortable, free of pain and other symptoms, and to live the best life they can until the end.

Each person is unique, and what matters most to them matters most to Marie Curie. Care is provided at home, in Marie Curie hospices, and through practical and emotional support over the phone and online. Marie Curie is also here for the people closest to the patient, both now and in the future.

How Marie Curie helps

Information and support

Marie Curie offers free information and support about dying, death, and bereavement, available online, in print, and over the phone. From the first questions after a terminal diagnosis to guidance on planning for death and support for grief, Marie Curie is there to help.

Hospice care

Marie Curie provides expert hospice care wherever it is needed – whether in a hospice or within the comfort of the patient's home.

Marie Curie’s nurses, healthcare assistants, and other professionals bring nursing, clinical, and emotional help directly to the patient at home. Support is also extended to the patient’s loved ones, offering reassurance, practical information, and respite care.

Marie Curie hospices support people with any terminal illness and their loved ones, providing the necessary medical, physical, psychological, and emotional care. No matter the illness or the stage of the journey, Marie Curie helps individuals live the best life possible until the end.
